Research review of Allama Ibn Hammam's Minhaj in Fateh al-Qadir

Abstract

Fateh al-Qadeer has a prominent place in all the interpretations of Hudaya. This Sharh  is considered as one of the most reliable books of Hanafi jurisprudence. This book contains very high and useful knowledge collection which is derived from the original sources of  Hadith, Tafsir, Fiqh etc. Sharh Fateh al-Qadir is a great Sharh of "Al Hudayah". This Sharh is a proof of Allama Ibn Hammam's maturity and expertise in jurisprudence. Allama Ibn Hammam, while writing the Sharh  Fateh al-Qadir, has tried hard to ensure that it is a complete and comprehensive Sharh of Hudayah and that all the qualities found in a good Sharh should be present in it. This book draws a map of the scholarly personality of Allama Ibn Hammam. From the beginning to the end of the book, the author's personality shines through. He disputes the arguments and gives priority between different opinions and keeps mentioning his own particularities.
