Abstract

This study examines the internal political strategy adopted by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Madinah and its pivotal role in establishing social stability within a diverse and conflict-prone society. Upon his migration to Madinah, the Prophet (PBUH) encountered complex social challenges, including tribal rivalries, historical conflicts, religious diversity, and the integration of migrants into a fragmented community. Through divine guidance and exceptional statesmanship, he developed a comprehensive framework that promoted unity, justice, coexistence, and collective responsibility.

The study explores the major internal challenges faced by the Madinan society and analyzes the Prophetic methods employed to address them, such as fostering brotherhood, establishing social contracts, promoting equality, and nurturing a shared civic identity. It further highlights how the Prophet’s internal policy laid the foundations for political stability, social harmony, and sustainable governance. The research concludes that the Prophetic model presents a timeless framework for conflict resolution and nation-building applicable to contemporary societies.
